About

A tutoring practice in Dubai that writes its own notes

Excel with Osman teaches 21 GCSE, IGCSE and A-level courses in Dubai. The notes on this site came out of those lessons: every page was written by Osman, and by nobody else. They are the same notes his own students get.

Wrote all 1,175 pages of notes on this site

I started writing these notes because of the same lesson happening twice a week: a student who knew the biology, had revised it properly, and still lost the mark because the answer did not use the words the mark scheme wanted. Textbooks explain the subject. They do not tell you what scores.

So every page here is built the other way round, from the mark schemes and the examiner reports up. If a page has an error in it, email me and I will fix it that day.

Lessons

We do also teach

In person in Dubai and online. Lessons are arranged by email and are nothing to do with a subscription: they are not sold on this site, they are not part of what a subscription includes, and subscribing does not get you any. If you want to ask about one, write and say what you are taking and when the exam is.

Email about lessons

The notes themselves

Written from the mark schemes rather than the textbook, and kept to what the specification actually asks for. The first four pages of every course are free and need no account, so you can judge them before paying for anything.
